Gymnastics
Another successful year of working with Sandra from CiDS Gymnastics on developing gymnastic skills. Sandra works intensively with each class in the school on a range of gymnastic skills. The benefits of gymnastics are huge in terms of fitness, flexibility, balance and co-ordination and gymnastics can form a strong basis for any sport. Gymnastics is one of the strands in the PE curriculum and the school places great importance on all strands being given ample curricular time in order for the children to learn and develop. This is a wonderful experience for the children who progress so much each year. Recently our Junior Infant classes received their Level 1 certificates!

Santa’s visit for Temple Street CUH
It was wonderful to welcome Santa to the school once again for his annual visit en route to Temple Street Children’s Hospital. The children were all thrilled to meet him and see his sleigh. Thank you to all the families for the generous donations to such a worthy cause. 
Official Opening of New Extension
On Friday 30th November we were honoured to welcome Bishop Denis Nulty to officially open and bless the new extension to both the Senior School and the Junior School. The new extension joins both schools and provides a magnificent space to serve our students, staff and parents. Thank you to all who came to the opening and huge thanks and congratulations to all who worked so tirelessly on the project from start to finish.
Witches Walk
The annual Witches Walk will take place on Thursday 25th October at 1pm. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
