Happy Christmas from Room 12
Happy Christmas to all families and friends of the children in Room 12! Hope you all have a wonderful holiday and a peaceful 2014.
Big Music Train September 2013
On Monday 30th September the boys and girls from Room 12 walked from the school to Newbridge Train Station to welcome the musicians representing the RTÉ Big Music Train. The children really enjoyed their walk and listening to the music. The children thought that the bands were very good. A big thank you to all parents who volunteered on the day to help us on the walk. Your help was very much appreciated.
Maths Week in Room 12
Last week (October 14th – 18th) was Maths Week. Room 12 got involved by creating their own patterns in the classroom, playing a Maths game in the carpet hall & using their Maths Eyes to spot Maths in the environment.
Science Week in Room 12
Last week (18th-22nd November) was science week. The boys and girls in Room 12 marked the week by having fun with shadows and mixing colours.
Planting Snowdrops in Room 12
We planted snowdrops in Room 12 today. We did an experiment to see what bulbs need to grow. We planted one with no water and one with no light. We are going to check them all in January.
