Tree Planting for National Tree Day
Margaret gets some help to plant the tree.
Many hands make light work.
We planted a horse chestnut tree.
It will grow very big.
It will have conkers or chestnuts on it in autumn.

Happy Birthday Mary
Welcome
We have PE on Monday and Thursdays so please remember tracksuits and runners.
Hand-washing is very important. Please remember to give children a small clean towel every week for drying their washed hands.
Water is a super drink to keep bodies healthy and brains happy. Children will be encouraged to drink water throughout the day. Juice and yogurt drinks are for lunchtime.
Scientist at work
Experiment:
We wanted to know how blubber keeps Arctic animals warm. We got a glove and poured some oil (blubber) into it. We then put our hand in it and placed it into a bowl of ICE COLD water, our other hand went in just as it is.
We discovered that the hand in the glove with the blubber stayed warm, while our other hand was getting colder and colder.
See how well we work together 🙂
