Welcome to Room 15!!

Welcome to our webpage. There are 13 girls and 16 boys in our class and our teachers name is Ms. Swords.

These are our class monkeys, Gizmo and Lu-Lu. Every Friday Lu-Lu and Gizmo get to go home with someone in our class for a sleep over. They have a diary and we write all about our adventures over the weekend so that Ms. Swords can read it to all the other boys and girls on a Monday morning. Everybody loves bringing them home to meet their family and friends. So far this year the monkeys have been to KFC, McDonalds, football matches, to visit Santa and to lots of birthday parties.

Welcome to Room 13

Junior Infants ~ Room 13 ~ Ms Byrne

Welcome to our page. We will post updates and information on this page for parents and carers throughout the year. The children have settled in really well and are now familiar with our classroom routines.

PE Days

Our PE days this year are Mondays and Wednesdays. Please wear your tracksuit to school on these days.

Lunches

The children have a morning snack at 10.40am and lunch at 12.25pm. If your child has a school lunch, please remember to give them an empty lunchbox to bring home any rubbish or uneaten food. This can be the lunchbox they bring their morning snack in.

Phonics

The children are really enjoying learning their sounds using Jolly Phonics. Try to practise the sounds with your child every day and ask them what sounds they can hear in different words. I found the video below really useful when learning the sounds to ensure they are being said correctly. I hope you will find it useful too.

Check back soon for more updates.
