Check out our “Happy Scarecrows”

We made these scarecrows by cutting and sticking coloured paper onto card. It was fun!

We have been busy in room 1!

Our Autumn Tree pictures were great fun to make. We used sponge painting and if you look closely you will see a few faces you might recognize!IMG_2754[1]

 

We Learned about the famous artist Pablo Picasso. We also had a go at making our own Picasso PortraitsIMG_2748[1]

 

We have been chatting about ourselves and all our wonderful talents…We also thought about what we would like to be when we grow up. We put all this information together in this great display!IMG_2749[1]

This week we have started to make a 2-D street on our maths wall! Check it out so far!

Cost of distributing the lunches for the year is €10.00.
Cost of 24 hour insurance cover is €8.00
Cost of swimming is €8.00 per session
(9 sessions) or €70.00 if paid in advance.
This money can be paid to the office between 9.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. ideally on the following dates:

1st & 2nd September 2014
7th & 8th October 2014
The school is moving towards being a digital school. We have registered for Digital school status which will mean we are positioned to provide the highest standard in Information Technology experience. With the help of a volunteer father who gives most generously of his time we have made great progress. The updating of equipment is essential and we have no budgetary allocation for it. We are therefore asking parents to make a further contribution of €10 per child (included above) towards the updating and replacement of equipment such as Interactive Board bulbs, tablets (of the computer kind!) and software licences (for example the Mathletics licence for 400 users which children got a lot of use and benefit from cost the school €2,354 this year).
