Happy Valentine’s Day from Room 12
The children made cupids in school today to bring home to their loved ones. We talked about why we celebrate Valentine’s Day. The children took part in a walking art gallery whereby they looked at each other’s work noting what they liked about each piece. This is a lovely thing to do as we we all very happy with our compliments!
St. Brigid’s Crosses Room 12
We made St. Brigid’s Crosses in class today. All week, the children have been learning about the story of Brigid, her cloak and her cross. Ask the children about it! St. Brigid’s Crosses are a lovely tradition and they are supposed to keep your house safe.
