Fruit tasting
We are reading Handa’s Surprise at the moment. In the story, Handa brings seven delicious fruits to her friend Akeyo; pineapple, mango, orange, guava, banana, passion fruit and avocado. Ask us about the surprise! We examined the fruit and then tasted it all. The class’ favourite fruit was orange.
Look at our new garden !
We are very lucky in room 9 to now have the best view in the school. Ms. Lenihan has been very busy creating a special garden for us to enjoy. We also have our part to play. It is very important that we respect the beautiful flowers by not interfering with them as they grow stronger and stronger. The garden isn’t totally finished yet so watch this space!
Baby Chicks
We had some spring visitors before the Easter break. They were super cute.
Community Games
We all raced in the Community games on Tuesday. We all of had fun in the sun!
Wassa Wassa
Today we did drumming as part of the Wassa wassa workshop We will be doing 8 weeks of it between now and June. We all had great fun 🙂
